Final Reflection

Wow, what an incredible semester.

It was a tough semester and Japanese proved to be the hardest language I have ever attempted to learn. It was also one of the most rewarding experiences. I did not quite achieve all my PE goals but the progress I have made since the beginning of the semester was amazing. I am still not entirely confident in my Japanese, but I am getting closer each day. I can feel my speed increasing as well. Still not at the area that I would like to be, but I am improving nonetheless. I have become better at speaking Japanese. I can now speak full paragraphs even if it takes me a long time to speak. I am happy with my progress.

I am even more excited about going to Japan next year. I am excited what more I can learn. I am excited about improving proficiency next year. There is so much room for growth and I am happy to continue learning Japanese.

I am not excited about this Japanese exam coming up. Is there anyone who is excited? Probably not. All I can do is to work diligently these next couple of weeks and do my best!

I look forward to next time.

  5. すごいですね。日本語はむずかしいですが、トマスさんさんは 日本語をべんきょうしています。わたしも大学にひらがなをならいました。でも、かんじをあまりわかりません。かんじをかきたいです。がんばってください!
